Safety Precautions

1. Use on Level, Stable Surfaces
   o Always place the jack on a flat, solid surface to prevent tipping or sliding.

2. Do Not Work Under Vehicle Without Jack Stands
   o A floor jack is for lifting only—never crawl under a vehicle unless it is properly supported by jack stands.
   o Ensure jack stands are rated for the weight and properly positioned.

3. Check Load Capacity
   o Do not exceed the 3-ton limit; verify the weight of the vehicle before lifting.
   o Use a higher-rated jack for heavier vehicles like trucks or vans.

4. Position Jack Correctly
   o Align the saddle with the manufacturer's designated lift point to avoid damage or instability.
   o Refer to the vehicle manual for correct jacking locations.

5. Inspect Before Use
   o Check for leaks, damage, or worn components before operation.
   o Ensure the hydraulic system functions smoothly without abnormal resistance.

6. Slow and Controlled Operation
   o Raise and lower the vehicle slowly to maintain control and stability.
   o Avoid sudden release of pressure or fast lowering.

7. Wear Protective Gear
   o Use gloves and steel-toed boots to protect hands and feet.
   o Wear safety goggles when working under the vehicle to prevent debris exposure.

8. Hydraulic Fluid Safety
   o Use only manufacturer-recommended hydraulic fluid.
   o Avoid contact with skin and eyes; clean spills immediately.

   o Operators should be trained in proper jacking procedures.
