Safety Precautions

1. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
   o Safety glasses or face shields to protect against flying debris.
   o Dust mask when cutting materials that create fine particles.
   o Hearing protection during prolonged use.

2. Use the Right Blade
   o Match the blade type and TPI (teeth per inch) to the material being cut.
   o Ensure the blade is sharp and securely fastened before operation.

3. Secure the Workpiece
   o Clamp the material firmly to avoid shifting during cutting.
   o Avoid holding small workpieces by hand.

4. Check Laser Alignment
   o Ensure the laser guide is properly aligned for accurate cuts.
   o Clean the lens regularly for clear visibility.

5. Start and Stop Safely
   o Always start the jigsaw before contacting the material.
   o Wait for the blade to stop completely before setting it down.

6. Avoid Overheating
   o Don’t force the blade—let it cut at its own speed.
   o Take breaks during long cuts to prevent motor or blade overheating.

7. Blade Safety
   o Do not touch the blade immediately after use—it can be extremely hot.
   o Disconnect power before changing blades.

8. Cord Management
   o Keep the power cord clear of the cutting path to prevent accidental cuts or electric shock.
   o Use cordless models in tight or elevated spaces when possible.

9. Use in Well-Lit Areas
   o Even with a laser guide, ensure sufficient lighting to see material edges and surroundings.
