Safety Precautions

   • Secure workpieces with clamps or other suitable devices to prevent movement during drilling.

3. Tool Inspection:

   • Before use, inspect the drill bits for any damage or defects. Replace any worn or damaged bits.

   • Ensure that the drill is in good working condition, and all safety features are functional.

4. Proper Tool Usage:

   • Select the appropriate drill bit for the material you are working on.

   • Use the correct speed setting on the drill based on the material being drilled and the size of the bit.

   • Do not force the drill. Let the tool do the work, and apply steady, even pressure.

5. Secure Workpiece:

   • Ensure that the workpiece is securely clamped or held in place to prevent unexpected movement during drilling.

6. Drilling Technique:

   • Hold the drill with both hands for better control.

   • Stand in a stable position, and maintain a balanced posture while operating the drill.

   • Keep hands away from the drill bit and moving parts.

7. Emergency Preparedness:

   • Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency shut-off switches on the drill and the workspace.

   • Have a first aid kit nearby and know the location of emergency exits.

8. Electricity Safety:

   • If using an electric drill, ensure that the power cord is in good condition and that the drill is properly grounded.

   • Keep the power cord away from the drilling area to avoid accidental entanglement.

9. Storage:

   • Store the drill set in a dry and secure location, away from children and unauthorized users.

   • Follow manufacturer's guidelines for proper storage and maintenance.

10. Training:

    • Ensure that anyone using the drill set is adequately trained on its safe and proper use.
