Safety Precautions

   • Ensure that you are using the correct oxy-regulator designed specifically for oxygen. Using regulators designed for other gases can result in compatibility issues and safety hazards.

4. Check Compatibility:

   • Confirm that the oxy-regulator is compatible with the oxygen supply system and other equipment. Ensure proper fittings and connections.

5. Secure Attachment:

   • Securely attach the oxy-regulator to the oxygen cylinder or supply system. Follow proper installation procedures and ensure that there are no leaks around the connections.

6. Avoid Contaminants:

   • Keep the regulator and connections free from oil, grease, or any other contaminants that may pose a fire hazard or compromise the purity of the oxygen.

7. No Smoking or Open Flames:

13. Emergency Procedures:

    • Be familiar with emergency procedures, including how to shut off the oxy-regulator in case of a malfunction or emergency. Have access to emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.

14. Training and Competence:

    • Ensure that operators using oxy-reg regulator tools are properly trained and competent in their use. Knowledge of the specific regulator and associated safety procedures is essential.
